Founded in 2013, Firebird ‘nests’ in a once redundant brickworks in rural West Sussex, brewing an ever widening range of great beers. Founders Bill and Richard, both Master Brewers, have been joined over the years by a great team of young adventurers, and together they have built a multi award winning craft brewery and a thriving bar. Alongside our commitment to brewing excellence and sustainability, we take immense pride in being an integral part of our local community, fostering relationships with independent local businesses and loyal customers.
Our fun brewery bar overlooks our working brewery and is open 7 days a week with late hours from Thursday to Saturday. Check out our socials or Bar page for all the latest information on our weekend food trucks, live music, special events and brewery tours.
What's on
Overlooking the working brewery, our bar is a relaxing space to drink, eat and unwind. We pour at least 10 of our brewery fresh craft beers alongside wines, spirits, ciders and softs.

Our sustainability journey
Sustainable brewing
Great beers start with great responsibility. Alongside our commitment to brewing excellence, we're proud to be taking steps towards more sustainable brewing.
From sourcing our malt solely from UK producers, to sending our spent grain to local farms to feed cattle, we are always exploring ways to reduce our environmental impact, and support our local community. In recent years, our increased energy demands have helped to support our Landlord's initiative to install solar panels, supplying 100% of our consumption on sunny days. Moving forwards, we will be investing in energy buffering, waste compaction and ways to improve our means of recycling.
We make sure to take meaningful steps towards a greener future for Firebird, without compromising on quality.
